In my mind
There is a song
Behind life's journey past experiences

One can find
Not everyone knows my mind
They have theirs and I have mine
Life's journey in my mind

What was then is now and yet to be
Can be found in leaves written and thrown into the sea
Carried on winds blown to and fro
This journey of life
In my mind

What comes one day this to will go
moving forward is the march of time
One word and then another
All set in order as to rhyme
This journey in my mind

One day my peers will hear
The resounding sound in their ear
This melody of mine
This song in my mind
